BOOKMARKS!

Hey Everyone,

Today, I will evaluate the top bookmarking sites on the “Internets” [sic]. The constant variable I applied to this highly scientific evaluation was to type in “breaking into Hollywood” with quotation marks to specify these exact words.

First, I tested Diigo. I got: “No bookmarks tagged “breaking into hollywood”" Okay, NEXT!

Second, CiteULike. Search results for: “breaking into hollywood” [0 articles]. NEXT!

Third, I tried Digg.com and I got several results, but non of them were the exact words “Breaking into Hollywood.” there was a lot of articles related to Hollywood, but nothing really about breaking in.

Fourth, Simpy.com. I got one result with the exact words. Not bad. Let’s move on.

Fifth, connotea.org gave me one “Breaking News” article about Lindsey Lohan publishing her Diary. Not exactly what I wanted, but I appreciate the effort.

Yahoo’s MyWebBeta and Netvouz gave me nothing. Nada. NEXT!

Finally, I tried Del.icio.us, one of the oldest bookmarking sites on the net, and it gave me SEVEN exact results. Woot! Now that’s delicious! It even included the site simpy.com gave me, so I think I’m going to go with Del.icio.us from now on.

Not to be a spokesperson for Del.icio.us, but it has a right-click tool and a toolbar button for easy bookmarking. I use to bookmark things regularily, until it became too much clicking-work. So I just went back to bookmarking on my own computer, until one day, my laptop erased all of my bookmarks for some reason. I dont know why it happened, but now I’ll be sure to make future bookmarks using Del.icio.us. Thanks for readin’!
